About Us

The Preservation Society produces award winning chutneys, sirops and preserves, all packed with flavour & made in small batches at home in Chepstow.

August 2014 – our Sirops have done it, 3 Great Taste Awards!

March 2014, we have won a Gold at the World Marmalade Awards for our Limey Lime Marmalade.

August 2013, we have been awarded two Great Taste Awards, a 2* for our Buttery & Boozy Mincemeat and a 1* for our Candied Jalapenos.

In October 2012 we won a Bronze Wales The True Taste Award for our Ravishingly Raspberry Preserve.

In October 2012 we were a finalist in the Monmouthshire Business Awards and had the pleasure of joining Jamie Owen on the Jamie & Louise Show, BBC Radio Wales.

We love to use local, seasonal quality produce and work with a number of amazing local suppliers – we call them our local food heroes! We SwapCrop with home growers and love even more to recycle, giving you money off your next jar for every one of our jars that you return!

Dry The River, February 2013From France to festivals, Sweden to the studio, I can’t think of anywhere we haven’t been without something from The Preservation Society.

Flavours of Monmouth, January 2013 -Lovely to meet up yesterday and taste all your fantastic preserves. Really looking forward to stocking them in the shop, they are just what we are after, great local produce, “made with love”, such attention to detail, a joy. www.flavoursdeli.co.uk

Karen Cree – Facebook 22/01/13 – Needed to bake something sweet on Saturday after a long walk in the snow so I made some frangipan tarts (Jamie Oliver recipe) using apricot, almond and amaretto preserve from www.facebook.com/ThePreservationSociety. Whole pieces of juicy fruit with a luxurious jam. Just delicious. Tried their cranberry & cabernet sauce at Christmas – it didn’t last long! They make lovely stuff and its available mail order too. If you’re local to Chepstow you can find them at the Farm Shop in Pwllmeric too.

Our jars are £3.15 each.

Our Chilli bottles are £4.50 each & our Sirops are £4.20 & £6.60 each.

Buttery & Boozy Mincemeat is £5.50 a jar.

Gift Boxes – 3 Jar £10

We can post jars anywhere so please call or email us and we’ll sort out the rest.

We can take payments by Paypal and postage & packaging starts from £4.

Trade queries are very welcome, we can produce a variety of jar sizes.
